I just remember sitting there in awe of a man getting a chance to reflect on his life in the face of his own mortality. If youвЂ™re a fan of Zevon, youвЂ™ll agree that this is a heartfelt collection of songs that confirms his status as one of the truly great вЂ“ albeit underrated songwriters of our time. And yes, even Adam SandlerвЂ™s treatment of the Zevon classic вЂњWerewolves Of LondonвЂќ is pretty good.
